Sick AGAIN!

It seems that we cannot be free of sickness this winter. We are now experiencing our 4th virus this season. It is getting a little old. I am very tired of staying home. Luckily, this one seems mild and short lived. More when I get caught up on the house.

A Year In Review

Since there is no way that my Christmas letter is getting sent (since it is 3 days AFTER Christmas now), I thought I would try to post it here for all to read. Also, my husband has said that pictures are okay for now. So, enjoy.

So, here is a crazy 1/2 year in review:

January - okay let's face it. We started the year with 2 19 month olds. Therefore, I have no idea what January brought.

February - Ahoy Matey!

March- My 4 girls being silly for the camera. A favorite passtime.

April - Yes I realize this picture is blurry, but you try to get 4 girls dressed, hair brushed, sitting on the couch to be STILL and LOOK at the camera. Smiling is optional, and one battle that I just don't fight anymore. Happy Easter. He is risen.

May - We drove to St. Louis and took a mini vacation. We stayed in a hotel, swam in the pool, went to Grant's Farm and the Zoo. The highlight was spending Mother's Day at Our Lady of the Snows. My mom, Lea, and her husband joined us for this little trip. The girls really enjoyed the pool. Ana is terrified of water so she spent the time in Daddy's arms on the side. Celia, on the other hand, was trying to jump in. Imagine a vacation where you have to take all of the food with you because as a family, you are avoiding, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, chicken, poultry, seafood, fish, and pears. Every meal planned out, cooked, sliced, etc before leaving home (1 cooler + 1 big picnic basket + 1 large bag). Add to that 3 floaties, 3 suitcases, cloth diapers, and who knows what else. We were quite a site to see at the hotel.

Also in May, we held a May Crowning with some friends. Mary was very well loved that day.

June - the twins turned 2! They had a wonderful birthday party. We had friend's over to the house for dari-free ice cream and yummy egg-less milk-less Banana Split Bundt cake. They receive way too many gifts, but since all were given with love, it was great.

Forgotten blog

So I totally forgot that I set up this blog account when Linda asked me about it. So, maybe I will try to post here to keep people up on what is happening in our lives.

There will be no pictures of the children here. If you want to see pics, you will have to email me for the info for our password protected family blog.

More later :)
