"A married woman must leave God at the altar to find Him in her domestic cares." - St. Frances of Rome
Quite the before and after pictures...great job!
You go girl! Looks great! I need to get organizing too. I am just so overwhelmed when I look at my house. I don't even know where to start.
I love organizing too..it looks great what you did. If you don't like the layout you have may I (a complete stranger...I feel funny, but just a thought here)suggest this...is that door there a used door? If not, block it off with those white shelves you have. It looks like you have a 'hallway' with them at the moment and if you need it, then it works great...anyway, it would just open up the space more. You have probably tried every thing anyway, I just see it through your picture, you see the whole thing.Blessings, Samantha
I think you did a great job! It always seems funny to me to push everything against the walls, but in a playroom, that seems to work out best. This way, the kids have lots of open space in the middle to spread out their toys!
Thanks for sharing your pictures! Yes I would have to agree opening the room up might be easier for the kids and perhaps instead of many small containers a few bigger ones instead. Just a suggestion. Well done!
Kids are just natural born little destroyers! It really looks nice and very inspiring!
Angi, Hi! Stop by my blog. I have something for you!Mimi
Looks like they have lots of space to play - so that's the main thing! Put boxes of smaller items like lego higher up, so the little ones don't get all the pieces out all the time. And bigger items that you don't mind out on lower shelves.
Nice! I will get into the organization mode once the college kids go back to school. I will miss them dearly but too hard to keep up with it all. Ever heard the phrase, too many chiefs not enough Indians?! LOL
Hi!! Just coming over from Catholic Moms Blogroll I saw on someone's site. Your newly organized playroom looks great!! I giggled when I saw the drying racks in the background. I had 3 of them set up in my house for years and I guess I stopped noticing them at the time, but now when I look at old pictures, they are always there in the background, with all our laundry draped all over them!! =)
What a fantastic job! You really are inspiring. Don't be embarrassed about your before pictures. Kids, life, it all happens, my playroom has been (probably is right now) much worse ;)
